The Taco Distribution Center (TDC), located in the beautiful Midwest just outside of Kansas City in Lenexa, Kansas, is part of J.M. O’Connor, LLC. (JMO), a company with a proud history dating back to 1920. JMO was founded when Joe O’Connor began representing manufacturers of steam and hot water heating equipment, controls, and accessories.

Joe’s son-in-law, Bob Piller, joined the company in 1949. Bob’s son, Lynn Piller, followed in 1979, becoming the third generation of family ownership and leadership. The family legacy continued with the addition of Lynn’s son, Jim Piller, who joined the business in 2019. In 2025, J.M. O’Connor, LLC entered its next chapter when the company was acquired by AIR Control Concepts.

The Taco Distribution Center was established in 1998 to serve as a centralized source of Taco inventory for Taco Representatives throughout the Central Region, and later, the Southeast Region as well. As our Taco stock levels have grown, so has our ability to support Taco Representatives nationwide by providing quick-ship products across the United States.

As the Taco Distribution Center, our goal is to build and maintain lasting relationships with Taco Representatives by delivering exceptional customer service, extensive product knowledge, fast shipping, and quick turnaround times on custom-built products.

The year 2025 marks a significant milestone as JMO celebrates 105 years in business. All of us at J.M. O’Connor, LLC and the Taco Distribution Center are deeply grateful to our loyal customers. Kim Adams

TDC Manager, Buyer

Kim has a long history with J.M. O'Connor that spans over 32 years, and has worked with Taco Reps since the TDC's beginning. Kim is wife to Tony and mom to 21 year old Lena. Along with managing the TDC, Kim makes it a priority to keep our shelves stocked with all the Taco products you need to keep your customers happy. Kim is always a cheerful voice on the other end of the phone. She loves working with you to get you, and your customers, taken care of quickly. Kim's claim to fame is when Rick Springfield's butt literally hit her in the face during a concert several years ago. She also enjoys a good fruity cocktail or White Russian and long walks on the beach.


Shannon McCormick

TDC Inside Sales, Customer Service

Shannon is the newest face around JMO and just joined the TDC team in 2019. She prides herself with attention to detail and quality work. She is married to Mark and has 3 daughters; Haley (25), Holly (23) and Heidi (21). Shannon enjoys watching her girls play basketball and soccer. She loves rooting on her Jayhawks and reading a great mystery. She also enjoys meeting her friends for Happy Hour for a cold beverage or two. Everyone at JMO is excited to have Shannon on board and know she will be a great asset to the company.



Jamie Gumm-Bainbridge

Project Manager

Jamie's career with JMO started in 2004.  Over the span of 21 years with the company, she has enjoyed acting in several different roles, with her most recent being Project Manager.  Jamie works behind the scenes on many marketing projects, sales reporting and pricing updates.  Jamie and her husband, Matt, have 4 kids; Emma (22), Tristen (21), Abby (18) and Aidan (17).  Jamie is also a vocalist and bassist with The Girls Next Door, a female trio with a Prime Country, heavy harmony focus. In addition, Jamie performs in Branson, MO, throughout the year as a part of Matt Gumm and Company, which includes her multi-talented brother, Matt, as the headliner, along with her mom and dad.


Sean Devins

Warehouse Manager, Pump Assembly

Sean joined the JMO team in 2006. He prides himself in quickly getting your impellers trimmed and pumps assembled, tested and painted. In addition to building pumps and managing the warehouse, Sean has a following around the Kansas City area as an amazing drummer. Those of us at the TDC consider him a Rock Star! His wife Janel, and daughter Ella (19) are his biggest fans. When he isn't building a pump, making a beat, or grooming his awesome beard, you can find him in the tattoo chair adding to his "body" of artwork.



Josh Raper

Shipping/Receiving

Josh joined the team at JMO in 2013 and has been an asset in getting your orders pulled and shipped quickly. Josh is always available with a quick-witted comment that is sure to make our TDC staff meetings a bit more interesting. He is dad to son, James and daughter, Ava, as well as 7-year-old twin girls Isla and Vivian.  When Josh isn't busy chasing the kiddos with his wife beautiful wife, Kelsey, he enjoys a tasty craft beer and a good cigar.  





Laurie Santee

Branch Administrator/Accounts Payable & Receivable

Laurie is the newest member of the J.M. O'Connor family and fills the very busy role of Branch Administrator.  Laurie organizes all training and events here at JMO and handles accounts receivable and payable.  When she isn't making sure the i's are dotted and the t's crossed, you can find Laurie hiking, reading or gardening.  She and her husband, Dan, are parents to 3 beautiful kids, Jacob, Miriana and Ben.
